Patriot Cattle Company (PCC) is a purebred seedstock producer focused on providing registered Black Angus breeding bulls for commercial and purebred ranchers. Lee and Marilee Muench established PCC to develop seedstock with unparalleled genetics; not only on paper, but also visibly via phenotypical traits and higher-level performance. Through the use of artificial insemination and strict maternal culling standards, Patriot Cattle Company breeds bulls which are tailored for ranchers' needs.

HERD QUALITY
It is Patriot Cattle Company's belief that excellent herds are not made by either mothers or bulls; excellent herds are made from both, working in tandem together. Cows and bulls alike play equal parts in the overall betterment and advancement of herd quality; thus, requiring meticulous attention to detail on the part of the breeder to ensure appropriate pairings are made. Patriot Cattle carefully selects sires for each heifer and cow to perfectly complement her phenotypical traits as well as Expected Progeny Differences (EPDs), resulting in a more complete end result across the entire herd (see “Herd” –> “Sires” for more information)
Good is never good enough and “perfect” can always be improved upon. Patriot Cattle Company prides itself on consistently and continually seeking additional education opportunities within the cattle industry and seedstock production. There is always new science to learn! Lee and Marilee regularly conduct honest introspective evaluations of their business. Improving, studying, and learning so YOU receive the very best!
Lee completed various Animal and Veterinary Science courses while attending the University of Idaho and in 2019 he attended the Graham School for Cattlemen, located in Garnett, KS; this school provided valuable continuing education opportunities in breeding, herd management, and Artificial Ingemination (AI). Upon completion of this course Lee became a certified AI technician with the state of Idaho.
EDUCATION
Patriot Cattle Company desires that their customers have the ability to make informed, confident decisions while selecting breeding bulls. Transparency is incredibly important to Lee and Marilee and PCC values what is right, over what is convenient. No circumstances are worth compromising one’s character and integrity. Buyers can rest assured knowing EPD figures are accurate, weights are personally taken in a timely manner, medical histories are honestly shared, and individual animal observations discussed before purchases are made. Through private treaty sales, Patriot Cattle encourages buyers to engage in open and authentic conversations about the animals they are interested in purchasing.
